About the role
Due to exceptional business growth we are looking for a skilled and safety-focussed Carpenter/Handyperson to join the team. You will be responsible for undertaking commercial building maintenance, property maintenance and commercial fits out tasks. This role is suitable for someone who is highly driven and is known for their professionalism, ability to multi task and is enjoys variety in their work and enjoys problem solving.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Undertake various maintenance tasks such as patching, painting, plastering, carpentry, commercial hardware install and repair.
* Provide high levels of customer service and frequent communication across all platforms efficiently and professionally.
* Ordering materials from suppliers within designated budgets and arrange deliveries.
* Book and coordinate trades if and when required.
Skills & experience
* Cert lll in Carpentry with experience in a similar maintenance role and with fit out expereince in commercial projects
* Ability to build effective relationships and possess exceptional communication skills with a diverse group.
* You will be flexible and adaptable have strengths in problem solving with a solutions focussed attitude and highly organised.
* WWVP and Police check will need to be completed.
* Excellent time management and an outstanding attention to detail.
