Executive Support Officer - Operations

Grade 3-4

Salary: From $79,032 to $86,540 per annum, Executive Support Officer Operations Grade 3-4, (excluding superannuation and leave loading)

About the NSW Crime Commission:

The NSW Crime Commission's purpose is to disrupt, reduce and prevent the incidence of organised crime and other serious crime and to pursue confiscation of the proceeds of crime in New South Wales. The Operations Division is responsible for conducting criminal and financial investigations under the leadership of the Executive Director Operations. The Operations Division is also responsible for the Commission's Strategic Intelligence capability, the provision of specialist investigative support services and providing advice and recommendations to Government in relation to minimising the impact of serious and organised crime on the NSW community.

About the role

The Executive Support Officer is responsible for providing a range of administrative and clerical services to support the Operations Division. The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure consistent, efficient and responsive services are provided across the Division. You will be responsible for providing efficient administrative and clerical support to the Division's Executive and various operational teams through coordinating file creation, preparing routine correspondence and emails, formatting reports, data entry and assisting with scanning, photocopying and document disposal.

Security Vetting

The recommended candidates must have a checkable background covering at least the last 10 years and be willing to participate in and secure appropriate security clearances by providing comprehensive details about their personal and financial interests and other relevant information about themselves, their families and their associates. The Crime Commission Regulation 2022 under the Crime Commission Act 2012 stipulates that it is a condition of employment at the Commission that a member of staff obtain and maintain:

  1. a security clearance issued by the Commissioner, and
  2. a security clearance issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency that the Commissioner determines is necessary for the position
