Responsibilities & duties will include:
- Order and arrange supply of electrical equipment, replacement parts and spare parts
- General Electrical Maintenance
- Manage machine break-downs
- Installation of equipment
- Install insulated cables and connect switches, outlets, and other fittings; connect circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and other electrical equipment
- Exposure to PLC technology
- Fault finding & problem solving
- Test & Tag support and maintain compliance with Australian Standards and recommend upgrades as appropriate
- Support and maintain compliance with all WHS practices
- Provide after-hours on-call support (roster system)
- Taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others
- Ensuring that your actions or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
- Complying with reasonable instructions from your Line Manager/Supervisor
- Attending all WHS training requirements
- Cooperating with Company policies and procedures related to WHS
