Variety and challenges best describe the day to day requirements of this 7am to 3pm A grade electrician position. The position entails working with,
- repairing and troubleshooting a variety of automated productions lines
- faultfinding, connecting and troubleshooting HMI’s.
- repairs to sensors, troubleshooting multihead filling and capping machines using siemes or allan Bradley plc’s. controls on manufacturing equipment. (electrical /pneumatic controls valves).
- Connecting motors, switch gear, pumps, 3 phase motors to Australian electrical standards AS3000.
- Calibrating instrumentation - mainly pressure sensors (sick), some robotics (mitsubishi)
- Assessing faults on rotary cappers, rotary fillers, conveyor belts, pumps and pressure sensors and a range of instruments,
- Service and repairs to high speed manufacturing equipment - including fill and cap liquid packaging machines.
