About the role Our Murray Bridge workshop is on the lookout for a driven individual where you will be trained up and supported to succeed. This isnt a role where you will be stuck in a workshop all day everyday, you will be travelling to different sites across the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and River Murray Lakes and Coorong to conduct maintenance, repairs, modifications and installs on new and old infrastructure. As part of a large, statewide business, this role offers the opportunity to apply your skills to a variety of projects and challenges. Every role here has a real impact on our customers, community, and the environment, and we are looking for the right people to take us further. Some of the projects youll get to work on include:Maintaining our major pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, and solar PV farmsRespond to breakdowns, undertaking fault finding and repair to return assets to services as soon as possibleDeliver new Capital projects, including switchboard builds and installationsUndertake HV switching (if qualified), if you arent qualified then we will invest and train youDutiesDeliver maintenance and Capital projects to a high quality standardDisplay a proactive approach to workplace safety and model excellent safety behavioursEnsure all work is completed in line with legislative requirements and SA Water policies and standards.Strong work management and planning skillsParticipation in an on-call roster will be required.Work in remote and isolated locations will be required from time to time.About you You will have demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in your trade. You will be a team player with a positive attitude and contribute to our strong safety culture. Strong communication skills coupled with the ability roll your sleeves up and deliver outcomes for our customers.
