We are actively seeking Maintenance Electricians and Fitters for the Day Shift, In this role you will be responsible to provide support for the site to ensure equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:- Provide support to site and effectively troubleshoot electrical faults.
- SAP – entering all completed tasks and booking our spare parts.
- Ensuring all work meets Engineering standards.
- PMs completed within the nominated timeframe.
- Ensure all electrical equipment is installed in compliance with AS3000.
- Make safety a priority and champion a safety culture with the team.
- Contribute to team culture and engagement plans.
- Regular interaction with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance and Administration Teams.
- Responsible for engineering support to standards and expectations and that all relevant documentation relating to the areas of responsibility are maintained to present standards.
- Log and complete all work in the maintenance system
- Read pneumatic schematics and fault find in a safe and efficient manner and make modifications as required.
- Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence.
- Promote a helpful and friendly relationship with customers and staff including communicating effectively with production people and other members of the maintenance team.
- Report any abnormal problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.
- Project work as required.
- Assist in the training of new staff and or functions when required.
- Complete all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by your leader.
- Pro-actively seek continuous improvement opportunities within the business.
- Electrical A Grade Licensed or Engineering Trade Certificate
- 3-5 years’ experience working as an Industrial Electrician Or Fitter
- Understanding of LOTO, JSA’s etc.
- Knowledge of PLC’s
- To work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Utilize CMMS (SAP).
- Industrial experience including fault finding and root cause analysis .
- Breakdown maintenance and diagnostic experience.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
