Our client is leading and fast-growing food manufacturing businesses based in Truganina. Their site is highly automated and streamlined. To support their growth plans, they are now seeking a talented and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team.
The Role
- Regular site Maintenance
- Willing to work a set P shift of 2-10pm Monday to Friday role
- Monitor and improve machine efficiency and quality
- Work collaboratively with Production and Quality for change overs
- Attend to machine breakdowns and repairs
- Welding and other plant repairs as required
- Manage your time and shift independently
- Aid the Maintenance Manager in planning /scheduling
- Must have a trade background/experience in Mechanical, Electrical and
- Previous hands-on Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Ideally possess working from heights, connect/disconnect, work in confined spaces, and white card certifications
- Welding expereince preferred
- Ability to work under limited supervision and autonomously
- Ability to manage competing tasks under pressure
