The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Maintenance team, providing maintenance support across all aspects of our business.
Responsibilities include
- Preventative, and break-down maintenance of plant equipment,
- Building /office maintenance works
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Process improvement of plant equipment
- Performing all work to deliver the production plan to our quality standards, and productivity and safety goals.
What you will bring to the BAC Team
- Trade qualification or relevant skills
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in Manufacturing, including equipment install
- Detailed understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
- Lathe and mill skills (manual equipment)
- Disconnect & reconnect would be advantageous
- MIG weld, TIG weld would be advantageous
- Intermediate level computer literacy and numeracy skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
