The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Revesby, New South Wales, which is going under an ~$85 million capacity expansion. Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday the Day Maintenance Fitter responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage).
- Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
- Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic - Leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing.
- Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.
- Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
- Experience in Industry/Manufacturing, high speed, 24/7 production environments
- 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player
- Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
