Maintenance Fitter - Day Shift

Our client is a leading manufacturing business renowned for its innovative and high-quality products for the building and construction sector.

About the role:

• Conduct routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance on fixed plants and machinery to ensure optimum performance is achieved
• Identify faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime caused by production line and machinery
• Engage and contribute to the planning and implementation of the preventative maintenance schedule
• Adhere to business safety policies and safe work practices, identify and report safety hazards in accordance with procedures

About you:

• Fitter Trade Qualified
• Experience in Production / Manufacturing machinery and production environment
• Welding Experience – Stick and MiG
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• High personal standards, taking pride in your work
• Electrical Connect/Disconnect experience is highly regarded
• Forklift Licence, Confined Space, Working at Height is not essential but advantageous
