About the role:
- Conduct routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance on fixed plants and machinery to ensure optimum performance is achieved
- Identify faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime caused by production line and machinery
- Engage and contribute to the planning and implementation of the preventative maintenance schedule
- Adhere to business safety policies and safe work practices, identify and report safety hazards in accordance with procedures
- Fitter Trade Qualified
- Experience in Production / Manufacturing machinery and production environment
- Welding Experience – Stick and MiG
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- High personal standards, taking pride in your work
- Electrical Connect/Disconnect experience is highly regarded
- Forklift Licence, Confined Space, Working at Height is not essential but advantageous
