Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on brewing equipment, machinery, and utilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Collaborate with the brewing and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and efficient equipment utilisation.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Welding and fabrication.
Support the implementation of safety protocols and guidelines within the maintenance department. Participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest brewing technology and maintenance practices. Requirements: Proven experience as a Maintenance Team member in a brewery, food processing, or manufacturing environment.
A recognised Engineering Trade qualification is essential. Dual trade qualification will be highly regarded. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Proficiency in analysing, diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
Experience in TIG welding stainless steel and/or sanitary welding highly regarded. Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule and handle on-call duties when required. You will be needed to perform 12hr leave coverage shifts when required. Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
