THE COMPANY
Our client is a leader within the agricultural market and are experiencing a period of significant growth. Due to increased work flow, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their friendly & supportive team.

THE ROLE

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of all production equipment
• Fault finding
• Responsible for tools; ensure no tools are left in production areas
• Repair of production machinery parts, replacement of production machinery parts
• Complete preventative maintenance and reactive worksheets from Maintenance Scheduling Program
• Stock control of relevant consumables
• In consultation with Production staff, identify equipment and areas requiring maintenance
• Constant review of production line to ensure optimal efficiency
• Comply with all regulatory and company procedures to prevent incidents
• Ensure team members follow company procedures and training relevant to hazards
• Report any incidents or deviations to Engineering Manager
• Assist with induction and training of other team members
• Actively participate in site improvement programs to ensure ongoing and evolving site safety culture

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Trade Qualified
• Current drivers licence
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in an industrial/production/maintenance environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance issues
• Planning, organisation and problem solving skills
• Strong technical aptitude
• Reliable, motivated and punctual
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
• Excellent communication skills and solid leadership qualities
