Due to continued growth across the Unipod business, we are eagerly seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter or Technical Hand (with relevant experience) to conduct maintenance & preventative maintenance of equipment & machinery on a full time basis.Duties to include, however not limited toEffectively using company systems to coordinate, schedule and complete all maintenance requirements (break down, preventative and scheduled maintenance).
Conduct stock takes.
Utilise company software systems for recording of maintenance programs and spare parts.
Follow registered plant maintenance schedules and documentation.
Assist the maintenance teams with finding parts and liasing with international machinery suppliers.
Provide technical advice to key stakeholders.
Identify the resources required to deliver project outcomes.
Ensure that improvement initiatives are implemented.
Installations and commissioning/ decommissioning of machinery.
Prepare maintenance strategies and plans for submission to the Production Manager for approval.
Coordinate delegation of work with all other maintenance personnel.
Assist with analysing the maintenance data together with the Production Manager.Desired skills and qualifications3+ years' experience within manufacturing
3+ years' experience in a similar Maintenance Fitter position
Knowledge with Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance software packages
Sound knowledge of EPS industry preferably
Commercial acumen
Able to think strategically and deliver innovative solutions to manufacturing issues
