This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the southeastern suburbs; this well-established company's advanced manufacturing facility supplies precision CNC machined components and assemblies to various industries.
They have a permanent position available for a Plant and Machinery MAINTENANCE FITTER.

The role of the Maintenance Fitter involves repairing, servicing and upkeep of all the units and systems of the facility, ensuring that the plant and all equipment are running smoothly on a day-to-day basis and all breakdowns are promptly attended to. You must also be able to operate and maintain a PC-based preventative maintenance system.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Be responsible for repairs, Breakdown & Preventative, Trouble Shooting, Basic Welding and Fabrication may be needed.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Trade qualifications
• Maintenance fitting exp
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Background of Plant and Machinery Equipment
