Maintenance/ Groundsperson – Full Time or Part Time
The Coro Club is seeking to fill the position of a Maintenance & Groundsperson in a full time or part time capacity. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and physically capable to meet the demands of the role. Experience in one of the following areas of maintenance, groundsman/agriculture or trade work would be essential.
About the Position
The primary responsibility is to attend to repairs and maintenance issues and to maintain the grounds of the Coro Club site. Working unsupervised, you will be highly motivated and capable of providing a high level of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the club is maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
- Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and all club amenities.
- Knowledge of garden maintenance such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing.
- Duties to be completed in a timely manner and of a high-quality condition.
- Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment.
- Ordering stock & cleaning supplies for the club & accommodation
- Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, garden restoration and pickups/deliveries.
- Responding to and completing maintenance requests.
- Adhere to safe work methods and protocols.
- Assistance with event preparation and coordination of the Riverina Field Days
About You
- Be physically fit and enjoy working in a hands-on role
- Previous experience working as a handyman/maintenance man, groundsman, or any tradesman experience is advantageous.
- Hold a valid 'C' Class Driver's License
- Ability to work with limited supervision and the ability to resolved issues quickly and think outside the box.
- Strong attention to detail and high presentation standards.
- Strong communication skills teamed with a positive friendly & professional manner.
