AddressHope Estate is home to a multi-award winning Brewery, established Winery, newly opened Distillery and is one of the go-to destinations for Concerts & Events in the heart of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley.
We are presently seeking an enthusiastic & energetic maintenance/grounds person/all-rounder to join our team.
This is an entry-level, hands-on role with a variety of tasks in a dynamic working environment where flexibility, a can-do attitude and work ethic are essential.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Upkeep of the venue's parks and gardens
- Assisting with maintenance on the property
- Working on the canning/bottling line when required
- Assisting with general day-to-day activities as required
The right candidate must possess the following:
- Be flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation
- Take pride in their work
- Be physically fit and able to perform operational tasks
- Experience with building processes (highly desirable)
- Chemical handling certificate and forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- An understanding that long hours may be required at key times for the business
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good OH&S Awareness
