We are a landmark coastal resort with 373 rooms and multiple food and beverage outlets. The convention centre provides the region with a modern facility within the Australian and international events and meetings market.
The opportunity
This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and the autonomy to work independently. We need a jack-of-all-trades with a broad scope of general knowledge within the maintenance space. Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- General upkeep of guest rooms
- Various repair work across the Resort
- Preventative maintenance
To be successful:
- You will have at least 1 year experience in a similar role
- You will have a willingness to learn and develop trade skills across all maintenance functions
- You are a forward thinker who takes initiative to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- You will be a positive communicator and able to handle guest requests for repair work
- You are highly responsible and reliable with the ability to work unsupervised
You must have full working rights + shifts will include evenings and weekend work.
