About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on all-rounder and capable maintenance person, that can support the Fleet Manager and Project Manager. The role is for a minimum of 25 hours per week and is extremely varied and interesting. You will work with some of the industry's best on a major boat-building project.
This key position will help with:
- Ad-hoc, routine, and preventative maintenance on vessels and facilities
- Organising the warehouse, parts, and stock
- Supporting the Fleet Manager in general maintenance duties
- Supporting the Project Manager to fabricate a new 22m aluminum boat
- Maintaining vessels, buses, and vehicles to a high standard
- Ad-hoc facilities maintenance, building repairs, and problem-solving
- Working on and around the water to ensure maximum uptime of assets and equipment
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a maintenance role or be a tradesperson.
- Drivers license (with LR / HR desirable)
- Must be mechanically minded, with general knowledge of diesel engines
- Be organized with good communication
- Professional presentation
- Familiar with boats and water-based activities
- Basic computer skills
This new position is based at the Gold Coast City Marina in Coomera, and the Main Beach head office as required.
We are flexible with the roster including hours and days worked.
