AddressOur client, a Co-eduational College in Dandenong has a great opportunity for a Maintenance officer, permanent role. This role is reporting to the Property Manager and ensuring the College's grounds, buildings, plant & equipment are well maintained. Hours 7:30am to 4:06pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assistaing Property Manager with College facilities & grounds maintenance
- Attend to the maintenance of the school buildings, furniture & equipment
- Ability to operate minor maintenance tools, machinery & equipment
- Assisting setup/pack up of school functions & events
- Reading facility plans, & drawings for performing minor maintenance works
- Pruning of trees & bushes, weeding, raking/sweeping - maintaining neat gardens
- General cleaning of school grounds
- OHS best practice
- Other duties as directed
What you need to bring to the role:
- Relevant experience in Facilities Management &/or general maintenance
- Ability to identify with the Catholic ethos of the College
- Ability to liaise with all level of stakeholders (internal & external)
- Ability to undertake further training in relation to the role
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Require a Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Police Check
- Double vaccination
