Key responsibilities and to be considered for this role you will have:
- Carry out work issued by our Centre Director, Owners and our Head of Maintenance through to completion maintaining a high standard of performance and pride in workmanship
- Complete all work / repairs in a safe, professional and efficient manner without impacting the running of our centre and children’s time in our playground
- Ability to assess, evaluate and discuss unsolved problems related to completion of an assigned repair
- Daily checks for any hazards, safety breaches to ensure safe grounds for children , and report and safety breaches or security issues to our Director
- Be available to prepare, and assist for special events at the centre as requested
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and are properly stored
- Ability to perform general labouring and repair duties
- Competent in use of power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs
- Good physical dexterity with the ability to perform physically demanding work
- Motivated with an enthusiastic approach to work tasks
- Reliable with the ability to operate as part of a team to achieve outcomes
- Carry out repairs and maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance program
- Liaise with our Director and promptly respond to work requests as required
- Ability and experience in use of commercial grounds and maintenance of equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance building works with a proactive safety approach
- Previous experience or excellent skills in carpentry or cabinet making is highly desirable

- A love of working outdoors and amongst the laughter and noise of children
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- A proactive, can-do attitude to deliver property operations tasks and prioritise safety
- Committed to ensuring the centres buildings, equipment and grounds are maintained to a high standard
- A current Drivers licence
- A current blue card or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
