We act local. Now is time to build a SWEET career at Mackay Sugar! About the role Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will have the responsibility of maintaining gardens and lawns at our factory sites.

You will be a key member of the team, self-motivated and committed to achieving targets in relation to safety, quality and productivity. As a minimum, you will: hold a manual driver licence. hold a licence for preparing and applying chemicals – AC/DC licence; and have extensive experience with lawn tractor operations.

It is also preferred but not essential that you will hold the relevant qualifications for chain saw operations. Key responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, watering, weeding, and fertilizing lawns and garden areas. Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain their health and appearance.
