We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team at Scalabrini Austral!
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Manager with a broad ranging practical skill set. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for providing all onsite maintenance activities, including repairs and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, fittings, equipment, and associated structures, as well as grounds maintenance. You will supervise other Maintenance staff and provide practical support and guidance in their daily activities. Your focus is on achieving a high standard of quality whilst working safely and efficiently.
This position is a Full-Time opportunity at our Austral Village.
Required:
- Unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A (Work safely in the Construction Industry) – White Card
- A current NSW driver licence Class C
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, or demonstrated ability to lead others
- Sound knowledge of building and maintenance practices and standards, including corrective and preventative maintenance programs
- Good communication skills, with an understanding and empathy for aged care residents
- Strong commitment to work, health and safety
- Intermediate computer literacy
Desirable:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Experience liaising with tradespersons and contractors
- People leader experience
- 5+ years in maintenance management across large facilities
