More About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Managerto join our team in Reservoir, Melbourne. In this position, you will be leading a team of 7+ people at our 24/7 operating Manufacturing site. You are vital part of this operation and will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely alongside our Production Manager.
In this role, you will be a safety champion and control our critical risks and drive our EHS strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for scheduling your shift teams, along with contractor management. You are present on the shopfloor and practical in your support style.
You will provide training and development opportunities to your Maintenance team. There will be some exposure to leading and supporting project work. This role is perfect for someone who has experience running a medium team in a manufacturing environment and can provide consistency, dedication, and support to help us achieve our company goals.
Skills and Experience
• Mechanical Engineer
• Leads a safe Maintenance culture inclusive of all High-Risk works
• Experience leading teams of 5+
• Leads with a strong shop floor presence and routine
• Use of a Preventive Maintenance system including critical spares
• Great communication skills and a customer service approach to Production
• Drives maintenance using Operational Excellence tools
• Has experience identifying and driving profit improvement projects
