Based in Melbourne, Air Everywhere Victoria predominantly service Age care, Retirement Living and School sectors, along with small Commercial and Residential Construction Sectors throughout greater Melbourne and broader Victoria. The work we do at AEV is varied both in scale and in geography; travel further afield can be required occasionally.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As one of our most senior members, you will lead our capable team in all Service & Maintenance across Victoria. 

This will be very much a dual-role when you begin; spending a percentage of your time in the field liaising with customers and staff, and a percentage in the office. The position includes quoting, purchasing parts and materials, scheduling workflow, invoicing, reporting, to being onsite yourself to gain a more thorough understanding of our clients’ sites and their requirements.

While field tasks go without saying, office tasks will include:

• Managing scheduling of Field Staff and jobs through Project Management platform Aroflo
• Placing equipment and unitary orders with suppliers
• Liaising professionally with clients and customers
• Preparing quotes for clients to suit our agreed contractual agreements
• Invoicing
• Warehouse inventory and stock management and reporting
• Keeping Field Staff & Managers accountable to keeping their project details up to date
• Managing job delivery to schedule
• Willing to obtain, or have, a forklift licence

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be a specialist Refrigeration Technician with 7+ years under your belt as a fully qualified tradesperson. You will have a strong and proven history in the service and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems, and the repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the Commercial & Domestic markets.

Due to our high quality of clientele, we are looking for someone who can confidently lead our service division; a well-seasoned leader who is customer-focused, coupled with a high degree of technical expertise in the field.

• A min. of 7 years’ experience as a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
• Trade Certificate III
• Construction Industry Card
• Refrigerant Handling License
• Current Victorian driver's license
• Proactive approach to planning
• An appropriate level of physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy items
• Advanced diagnostic (fault-finding) skills
• Computer proficiency
• Positive attitude and hard-working mentality
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely with clients, colleagues and suppliers – both written and verbal. An ability to turn technical jargon into something our customers can understand.
• High attention to detail and knack for problem solving
• Forklift licence (or interest in obtaining one)
• Extremely highly regarded: experience using Aroflo
• Highly regarded: experience using other Project Management software
• Highly regarded: Working at Heights/EWP license
• Highly regarded: Plumber's license

Pay rate is currently offered at a base salary + Super + KPI Bonus Structure (once abilities are proven).
