Your New Opportunity:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team at Erskine Park, NSW, working hand in hand with the plant’s production department.
This is a key role within the Site Management team and is responsible for maintaining all operating equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance to meet agreed performance targets and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement and maintain WH&S management procedures and systems of work and ensure the hazards of all work activities are identified and controlled.
- Maintenance of Plant and Equipment – to be undertaken in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, statutory requirements as requested.
- Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other site personnel to facilitate and encourage increased awareness and understanding of plant, equipment, and safety related issues.
- Demonstrates Tyrecycle values through leadership training and supervision, including performance reviews with subordinates on a quarterly and annual timeframe.
- Participate in Toolbox Talks, actively taking part to resolve operational and HSEQ issues.
About you:
- Trade Qualification (in engineering/mechanical discipline relevant to role)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance in a manufacturing / mineral processing or heavy industry environment
- Front line supervisory / management experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and proven experience in managing a proactive preventative maintenance program
- Current Driver's Licence – and as relevant to site operations
- Current Forklift Licence
- Elevated Work Platform Licence
- Current Confined Space Licence – where required.
- Ability to supervise and motivate fellow employees
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
