AddressExciting opportunity for SAP Maintenance Master Data implementation for a large mining operation
We are looking for a motivated maintenance professionals to review, update and develop Maintenance strategy for our top tier client's Dragline equipment in Central QLD.
The role is based in central QLD and can be DiDo or FiFo or Residential on 8/6 or 5/2+4/3 roster. Accommodation and car will be provided to travel to site.
Applicants can be from Brisbane (or SE QLD), Rokhampton, Emerald, Yeppoon or Mackay area.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing new preventative maintenance (PM) strategies to assure that the maintenance intervals, labour allocations, material allocation, procedures, etc are accurate to maintenance requirements.
- Review existing maintenance strategies to comply with clients work management and Maintenance Master Data guidelines.
- Develop PM strategies in the system through FMECA or similar process focusing on asset reliability & asset criticality.
- Upload rectified strategies and upload new strategy in Client's Enterprise resource planning (ERP) or Centralised maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Collaborate with maintenance planning and execution team to get work order feedback to review existing PMs.
- Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to identify and review maintenance strategies that will improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions that are consistent with your contract of employment.
- Ensure maintenance strategy development program prioritise safety by encouraging proactive work to reduce need for potential high-risk tasks and focus on machine reliability to minimise exposure of maintenance personnel to hazardous tasks.
- Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported and are followed up correctly to minimise and manage risk and oversee investigations where required, ensuring that the Occupational Health and Safety Act is complied with at all times.
Essential Qualifications/ Skills
- Certificate III or Undergraduate degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Electrical or similar trade
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices.
- Advanced user of CMMS or ERP systems
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the mining or heavy industry or mineral processing environments.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' of Reliability or Maintenance roles.
- Minimum of two (2) years' of Maintenance Planning or Scheduling experience.
- Experience in Dragline Maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking out side of the box delivering alternative outcomes.
- Well-developed analytical skills with proven ability to think and act strategically.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with excellent presentation and reporting skills.
- Current Unencumbered QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Experience working as a Maintenance Master Data Specialist or Administrator
- Previous experience in using SAP Oracle Cloud based ERP
- Familiarity with the Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations.
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.
- Strong working knowledge of Scada and/or Mine management and/ or Fleet management and/ or Availability & Loss management systems.
- Intermediate level proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.
- Standard 11 Certificate
