Maintenance Planner-1

Company :

In this role, you undertake all long and short-term planning activities associated with maintaining our newly installed fleet of 100% Caterpillar equipment at McArthur River Mine.

The fleet consists of 40 units of brand-new Caterpillar equipment comprising of Large HMS 6060 & 6040 excavators along with Large Mining equipment including 793D, 995, 992, D11 and D10 models.

As a Maintenance Planner at MRM, you will:

• Plan scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role

• Be responsible for the creation of all parts lists and resource allocation and complete work orders 

• Review the defect list and planning the repairs of these defects at the optimal time

• Manage and track all planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resource requirements

• Process control management and site based development of processes; work order process, warranty handling process, warranty parts return and control

• Maintain up to date and accurate bills of material associated to planned events

About You
A successful teammate will have:

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or related discipline

• Minimum two years’ experience supervising a team in providing technical solutions  

• Dedicated commitment to health and safety

• High level of initiative, reliability and ability to work independently

• A customer driven focus and demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships

• A commitment to continuous improvement

• Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
