Located in Sydney's South Western region, this manufacturer offers an excellent production facility with a great company culture. Your new company is looking for a Maintenance Planner on a permanent day shift, working Monday to Friday.
Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your main responsibilities in this role will be improving the spare parts and inventory management system/process, planning, and scheduling maintenance duties to avoid breakdowns on the production equipment and CI projects. In addition to this, you will:- Provide improved information to the Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams assessing job priority both in time and in advance
- Advanced forecasting of labour teams needed, and time required to complete each maintenance job
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in assessing the performance of the Maintenance Crew
- Analyse the information being reported on by the Maintenance Crew in regard to materials, equipment, breakdowns, tools and reporting, to ensure they meet the standards required
- Create a Maintenance Plan for the supervisor to ensure the pre-planning for day-to-day work, month and year where applicable
- Be the central source of information for maintenance knowledge on the production equipment, and associated building equipment
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Planner and have an excellent understanding of fault-finding and repair on production/manufacturing lines
- Ideally, Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. If not trade qualified will be excepted
- Strong experience with CMMS systems such as MP2 or MEX
- IT skills with Excel and Word
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You must have working rights within Australia to apply for this position.
