We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance, Repair and Operating (MRO) Supplies Support to join our Site team. Located in the suburbs of Hobart in Tasmania, the Claremont manufacturing site is the home of some of our iconic chocolate brands such as Freddo, Flake, Twirl and Caramello Koala.
Reporting to the Technical Services and PM Lead, you will bring a deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development and implementation of planned maintenance elements in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Facilitating Engineering spares store transactions in alignment with MDLZ MRO best practices.
- Managing compliance of spare parts booking procedures with site personnel.
- Facilitate store dispatch and receivables supported by logistics with forklift movements.
- Assist personnel with parts locations ensuring 5S compliance.
- Administration of new and replenishment stock items.
- Facilitate annual stock takes of spare parts and ensure inventory accuracy as per MDLZ guideline.
- Support Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Lead in PMOs tracking and compliance.
- Support Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Lead in data cleansing and inventory analysis.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferably FMCG/foods industry.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
- Working on priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who can work with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in SAP & parts management.
- Experience in a MS-Office (Ms Word, MS Excel)
