About the Role
The Maintenance Scheduler role is critical to the successful planned and scheduled maintenance of council fleet vehicles and assets.
This position will contribute to the development, implementation and embedding of the scheduled discipline, required to safely and proactively conduct routine maintenance on all council fleet and assets. Liaising with the Team Leaders, Fleet workshop schedules will be prepared and allocated to resources with the required skills knowledge and experience to conduct the works planned.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Mechanical trade qualifications or demonstrated experience scheduling maintenance in a busy workshop environment.
- Must be conversant in vehicle, plant and asset servicing requirements, timeframes, resources and costs.
- Demonstrated experience in a busy environment with competing priorities and a particular focus on customer service.
- Must be conversant in the production of reports that demonstrate the life of the asset, costs associated with the asset and provide recommendations on replacement and or repair.
- Knowledge of council systems including ECM, EAM and Microsoft suite essential.
- Must have a current “C” class driver’s licence.
- Certificate IV in Business Administration / Fleet Management or willing to complete within 12 months.
- Demonstrated experience in Scheduling procedures, processes, guidelines and business rules.
