AddressPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Coordinator / Maintenance scheduler to join our rapidly growing Civil Construction company. Currently sitting at over 30 pieces of machinery as well as over 20 light vehicles, this role is imperative to the business to ensure scheduling, maintenance and coordination of our fleet is managed efficiently.

About the Company:
Stratum civil is a leading Civil construction company carrying out projects across South East Queensland. We have expanded our fleet of Mobile Plant immensely over the last few years and require a competent person to manage the scheduling of all plant between current and future projects, coordinate transport and maintenance the fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Manage scheduling of all plant within the business – Currently at 30 pieces of civil machinery, excavators, tippers, water trucks, track loaders, compactors.
- Plan all servicing with current providers.
- Complete regular mechanical and quality checks on all equipment
- Ensure fleet is maintained and safe to operate. to ensure that these remain tidy, safe, clean and in good working order.
- Work with project managers to coordinate the fleet between sites, organize transportation.
- Coordinate and maintain light vehicles – Approx. 20
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained and safe to operate, cleaned regularly, and any defects rectified.
- Liaise and plan with service companies to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Complete regular mechanical and quality checks on all equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role working in/around heavy equipment and Mobile Plant
- Ability to work effectively and take full ownership of the role without supervision
- Strong team player and ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff and subcontracts
- Able to engage in proactive behavior and exercise initiative, managing time and multiple plant at once.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Construction card and manual drivers’ licence is preferred.
- A demonstrable understanding of safe working practices as they relate to the type of work to be performed.
