From the west coast of Australia to the east coast of the U.S., from Europe to South Africa, and from mines to research and development labs, we bring the same passion to work in every location, everywhere, every day.Tronox is recruiting for a Shutdown Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance Team at our Chandala Mineral Sand Plant based in MucheaThe position is offered on a permanent basis working a 9 day fortnight on a compressed 38 hour week.About the roleReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner will be accountable to:
- Effectively manage the shutdown workflow through the company dedicated CMMS to assist with shutdown preparation and execution
- Prioritise and manage the backlog of work requests to ensure effective weekly shutdown plans and schedules are developed
- Utilise a strategic planning approach to ensure long term maintenance and budget goals are established and met
- Create and maintain effective relationships across a wide variety of functional areas
- Ensure compliance with relevant Environmental, OSH and Registered Equipment legislation.
- Assist with development of shutdown procedures and documents.
- Ensure all regulatory/statutory requirements and company standards are incorporated in the shutdown preparation as required.
- Identify isolation requirements to production team, and ensure permitting applications are correctly submitted on schedule during planning stage.
- Development of shutdown work packs, work instructions and schedule.
- Working with maintenance and production team to optimise shutdown plan.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers for the provision of equipment, materials, and services.
- Undertake shutdown post review, lessons learned and shutdown close-out reporting
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- 5 years shutdown or maintenance planning experience in a process plant
- 5 years SAP Maintenance planning experience (required)
- Mineral sands and mineral separation experience (desired)
- Strong computer skills in Excel and MS project
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a changing environment.
- Valid Driver's License
