Join Golding in the heart of Baralaba's vibrant mining scene as we seek a skilled Maintenance Superintendent to oversee our mobile equipment operations.

In this dynamic role, you'll lead our maintenance team and wield your expertise to ensure top-notch management of mobile maintenance, guaranteeing safety, environmental excellence, and peak performance in our mining fleet.

Working on an 8/6 roster with camp accommodation and meals provided, you'll be at the forefront of our maintenance strategies.

Your contributions will be pivotal:

• Empower and guide maintenance teams to execute safe and efficient practices;
• Innovate and suggest improvements, especially in reducing downtime and fleet expenses;
• Collaborate with Mine Planning and Operations to elevate production planning and fleet uptime;
• Craft and sustain maintenance plans aligned with production needs and fleet strategies;
• Strategize and implement equipment lifespan plans for maximum availability and cost efficiency;
• Prepare meticulous work packs to uphold safety and efficiency standards;
• Manage maintenance resources and inventory for optimal project efficiency;
• Lead thorough incident investigations to uphold our standards of safety and analysis.

• Effectively implement, monitor and manage Golding plant maintenance management systems on the project;

What you will bring to the role:  

• Experience in Australian open cut mining operations is highly desirable;
• Trade qualifications in a related field or Mechanical Engineering are essential;
• Demonstrated SAP experience is desirable along with experience in Microsoft Office;
• Proficient analytical skills to drive necessary changes in maintenance, safety, and financial areas;
• A proven track record of leadership fostering high-performance outcomes.
