UGL Fuels & Energy East line of business are currently seeking interest from Superintendent’s to join the onshore O&G facility in Longford, VIC. The role will be responsible for supervising all trades labour completing routine maintenance, project work and shutdowns in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will ensure work programmes are adequately resourced with appropriate trade mix and capturing job costs accurately so they can be correctly billed.
You will ensure compliance with UGL and client procedures and policies to develop and maintain excellent relationships delivering an impeccable service.
The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
· A minimum of 10-15 years combined industry experience (e.g. Offshore/Onshore Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals)
· Ensures employee safety is a primary consideration when executing all work and that all UGL and client safety procedures are complied with
· Ensure that UGL HSSE management plans and procedural requirements and EAPL site requirements are adhered to
· Conduct daily pre-start and toolbox meetings
· Ensures all changes to the schedule and resource impacts are managed by the CVI process
· Leading teams of trades and related labour employees including delegation of jobs and work-scopes – in particular delegation of jobs through leading hands
· Clearly communicates with team members and all EAPL stakeholders
