About the opportunity
This role will be responsible for the maintenance of Esperance's fleet of forestry equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will ensure the weekly plans are maintained on all assets including, preventative maintenance and general management of repairs, ensuring safe and sustainable use.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage all forestry and log marshalling equipment and plant through planned work, structured servicing and adherence to procedures ensuring equipment meets regulatory and OEM requirements
- Triage of issues and/or defects identified through pre-starts and manage efficiently via established maintenance workflow processes
- Maintain a suitable network of third party service providers with sufficient resources available to assist with maintaining C3's fleet and equipment
- Delivery of value across heavy/light vehicle and plant fleets to increase availability and utilisation rates
- Foster an ongoing partnership with internal and external partners, including third party service providers to ensure maintenance schedules and safety requirements are adhered to
- Assist in the planning and delivery of fleet replacement and refurbishment programs
- Management of maintenance activities within the CMMS (Maximo) including recording of work orders, parts ordering and managing the preventative maintenance schedule.
About your experience
You will have a strong demonstrated background in maintenance planning and delivery of plant, including the use of computerised systems. Your strong communication skills will be proven through your experience in engaging with various stakeholders to achieve a common maintenance goal.
Desireable skills and experience will include - Harvesting head maintenance exposure
- Demonstrated experience within this field
- OEM diagnostics training
- HR license preferred
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements, including COR obligations
- Sound understanding of technical and maintenance aspects of vehicles and equipment
- Experience in the use and application of a CMMS (Maximo
- Experience in risk management including audits and risk prioritisation
- Advanced time management skills, flexibility and initiative
