A fantastic opportunity exists for a Maintenance Technician to join our water team based in Tugun 4224. As the Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the plant and equipment at the Gold Coast Desalination plant.

- Maintaining fixed plant equipment by undertaking preventive, corrective and breakdown tasks.
- Executing production tasks including inspections, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Participating in team and department plans to optimise operational performance.
- Responding to and rectifying alarms generated by SCADA.
- Undertaking laboratory analysis and sample collection.
- Contributing to a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
- Inducting contractors and supervising their work, where required.
- Trade qualification preferred
- Experience in the maintenance of pumps, pipelines and other mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of water treatment engineering practices preferred
