Located in Virginia QLD (HO VIC) , they currently have a vacancy for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.
The successful applicant will have Electrical and/or Mechanical experience in a wide range of small to medium machines. They will be self-motivated and can solve a variety of machine related issues. The ability to work autonomously in a variety of environments is highly desirable.
The tasks will vary but not be restricted to;
- Machine set ups/installations
- Basic routine servicing
- Attend breakdowns
- Minor modifications
- Customer training
- Moderate walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching and lifting
- Accurate record keeping on company systems
- Customer focus
- Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required
Successful candidate will possess;
- A sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic concepts
- Electrical /Mechanical background and experience in a similar role
- Reconnect/ Disconnect Electrical Licence would be preferred but not essential
- Trade certificate and Un-restricted drivers’ licence
- High work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety
- Sound speaking and writing of the English language
- Previous experience in the packaging industry advantageous yet not essential
