Kingston Estate is family owned and comprises of our Winery based in the Riverland, office and warehouse in Adelaide and 14 Vineyard sites across South Australia and Victoria. Our vision is to be The leading grower and producer of Australian wine for the world.
The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter you will join our onsite team responsible for maintaining and developing our Riverland winery. You will install, commission and complete repairs and preventative maintenance of site plant and equipment whilst undertaking general fitting and assembly tasks.
Typical duties of this role include:
- Fabrication and repairs using Arc, Tig or Mig welding processes.
- Service and repair of plant and equipment including assembly and disassembly of pumps and centrifuges.
- Realign, repair and tension pulleys, belts, nuts and springs.
- Remove and replace drives on drum rollers, gear boxes, couplings, pulleys, chains and drives, bearings and housings.
- Repairs to solenoids, fittings, hoses, connections, oil/air hydraulics, rams, valves, doors, seals and controls.
- General maintenance tasks as required.
Skills and experience:
- Hold an engineering trade qualification (minimum Cert III).
- Sound general mechanical and engineering knowledge and aptitude.
- Advanced fitting and diagnostic skills.
- Current Drivers and Forklift licence.
- Confined space certificate and elevated platform work licence would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a winery or food production facility desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
