Thiess is the place to make things happen. About the role Thiess is seeking an experienced Maintenance Trainer at our Peak Downs mine located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin. In this role, you will be responsible for: Manage the site training needs for the maintenance department Onsite authorisations and training of maintenance personal Escorts and deliveries of daily freight, parts and plant throughout the mine About you This position is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the mining or an allied industry and has the following skills: Current Trainer Assessor qualification is desirable but not essential Experience in a Maintenance Trainer Assessor role on an operational mine site Minimum 2 years experience Have high standards for personal safety and for others Self-starter with a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude Work autonomously an in a team environment Relevant experience in a similar role in a mining environment Hold a current HR Non-Slew Crane Licence highly desirable Hold a current HR Forklift Licence highly desirable Tilt tray operation experience desirable but not essential What Thiess can do for you Annual income between $149,257.16 and $152,813.96 ( Super) depending on qualifications and experience Access to fully funded flights from Brisbane 7/7 even…
