Form of workAs the caretaker for the Coomera Waters Estate, Coomera Waters Management are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the estate.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced, motivated and mature minded Maintenance/Grounds Person to join our team for an immediate start. This is a full-time position with full leave entitlements (annual, sick, etc.), salary is negotiable depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
Our team culture is important to us, we have regular onsite team BBQ's and birthday morning tea's, annual team awards, Gatorade & ice blocks during hot/summer months, the opportunity for formal training courses/upskilling, and all tools and equipment are provided.
Duties include but are not limited to;
- General estate, Rec Centre and park maintenance
- Completing repairs including basic carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, painting and repairing locks, gates and doors
- Removal and installation of bollards, signage, silt fences and small structures
- Use and maintain hand tools and machinery
To be considered for this position you MUST possess the following attributes;
- Experience in a similar Maintenance/Grounds Person role
- Trade certificate or other relevant qualification
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Current drivers’ licence
- Ability to work in a team environment and produce quality results
- Adherence to WHS policies and guidelines
- Passion for the environment and working outdoors
