Kool Beanz Suns Harrup Park is a state-of-the-art childcare centre located opposite Harrup Park, South Mackay. As a family-owned company, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for both our children and our team members. We are currently seeking a casual Maintenance Person to join our close-knit team and take care of the maintenance needs of our childcare centre and upcoming development sites.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively as part of a close team to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
- Perform general landscape garden maintenance, including caring for lawns, hedges, trees, and weed control.
- Apply herbicides and pesticides in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines.
- Operate company equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Proactively identify, report, and solve maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve timelines and maintain high standards.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality maintenance.
- Punctuality and reliability in meeting work schedules.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members.
- Willingness to obtain a Blue Card.
- Ability to set and achieve personal goals and work independently.
- Own transport for commuting to the childcare center and development site.
