The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Major Maintenance Delivery Specialist to join our Engineering and Planning team in Perth, WA on a Permanent Full Time Basis.
Reporting to the Maintenance Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in Managing APA and 3rd party asset maintenance for accountable State in line with contractual arrangements and to maximise Asset reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of maintenance projects from planning to execution-
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise
- Manage relationships with service providers and other teams to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance services.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess maintenance needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Your Background
- Proven experience in maintenance coordination or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in maintenance projects
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and regulations
About the Team
Operating APA’s energy infrastructure requires technical solutions and sustainable operating decisions everyday. The Major Maintenance Team supports operations to optimise maintenance, inspection and reliability improvements for APA facilities.
The newly formed Major Maintenance team delivers reciprocating and turbomachinery overhauls across APA’s transmission and power assets. From single units to whole of plant outages, we focus on best practice planning, safety and quality management to deliver the ongoing performance and reliability our customers expect.
