We are currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic team, located in Bolton Street Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in either public practice or management accounting roles. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and General Manager and contribute to the financial success of our firm.

Responsibilities:
- Perform revenue accounting and analysis to ensure accurate recording and reporting of income streams by advisor, office and client group.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis related to revenue performance for general manager and CFO review.
- Prepare and analyse reports connected to key business metrics including funds under advice and adviser/client interactions.
- Assist in monitoring and optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s financial advisers through data analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reports to ensure compliance with AFSL requirements.
- Payroll and expense processing.
- Assistance with the preparation of the group’s activity statements and income tax returns.
- Compliance activities related to adviser processes, including CPE requirements.
- Provide support to advisers by assisting with the interpretation of accounting-related matters for the firm's diverse clientele.
- Assist with projects related to financial advice delivery, including digital advice and leveraging AI.
- Assist with projects related to investment activities. For example, ASX listed entity corporate actions such as share purchase plans and rights issues across our investment client base.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in public practice or management accounting roles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- An interest in financial investment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
