The Organisation
Sleepeezee Bedding is a highly regarded import/manufacturing company with its head office located in Campbellfield Victoria. Currently we are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the successful applicant will be responsible for all general financial and accounting activities of the business. This position is an integral part of the team and requires the commitment to take full responsibility of accounting for the following reporting functions:
Banking and treasury including, hedging/ forward contracts and all foreign exchange related accounting
Cashflow Forecasting
Preparation of monthly and annual management reports for directors
Weekly payroll preparation
All statutory reporting of BAS, FBT, payroll tax and WorkCover
Balance sheet reconciliations and review of all account reconciliations
Coordinating completion of all external audit requirements
Oversee all bank accounts transactions, AR allocation, AP payments & foreign payments.
Ad hoc analysis of spends and maintenance of various reports concerning operating costs, income and expenditure
The Successful Candidate
CA/CPA or equivalent qualified
A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven FX experience
Thorough knowledge of statutory tax laws and compliance including payroll knowledge
Strong Excel skills
Experience with a major ERP systems, preferably Pronto
In return you can expect
Salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus super
