Management Accountant

What is unique about the role? 

This is a key strategic role partnering closely with our Brisbane headquartered businesses Infoview (www.infoview.com.au) and ValuePRO (www.valuepro.com.au), supporting them through timely financial reporting, analysis and insights to help drive business performance.

Infoview Technologies is the leading independent provider of large-scale telecom, data, asset and expense management solutions. 

ValuePRO is a property valuation management software firm providing software solutions to leading property valuers world-wide. 

With the support of the Group Finance Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the Finance function of these businesses.  You will partner with business leadership to provide analysis, strategic insights and advice. You will also be responsible for forecasting, financial reporting, tax, compliance and working capital management.

What will I be doing day to day?

We are an active acquirer of software businesses and as our Group continues to grow, you will have opportunities to leverage your experiences and our proven practices to undertake due diligence, integration and performance improvement activities for new acquisitions. 

In a bit more detail, you will: 

Own the Finance Service for Infoview and ValuePRO, including to:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of the finance strategy and associated budget for each business.
• Manage the preparation of quarterly plans and monthly financial results – collectively called the QSR (Quarterly Scorecard Review) based on the Strategic Plans and in collaboration with business leadership.
• Ensure the accounting, fiduciary and statutory compliance requirements are met across the businesses.
• Manage the analysis of the financial performance against agreed targets.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Group’s finance data.
• Contribute as a key member of the business management teams.

Group Finance Manager

Will I have any additional Finance support? 

You will be supported by a part time contract bookkeeper. Whilst your role will be dedicated to our Brisbane headquartered businesses, you will be part of a wider Portfolio and Australian & New Zealand focused Regional Group. You will be part of a broader virtual team consisting of other business aligned Finance Managers, Business Partners and bookkeepers, with oversight from the Portfolio Finance Director.  You will therefore have access to a network of Finance colleagues for idea generation, sharing, coaching, advice, and support.

What do I need to be eligible to apply?

We are looking for a confident, emotionally intelligent, driven individual who has a desire to contribute significantly to business performance through financial leadership, connection and personal accountability.  We seek someone with exceptional organisational skills, an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and who measures their performance by the value of their contribution. 

Qualifications:

You will have a minimum of 2 years Financial Management experience with a sound understanding of the compliance, accounting, employment, and tax requirements of conducting business in Australia.  You will be a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia. 

Competencies required include:

• Detail oriented, with strong organisational and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex issues clearly and credibly.
• Exposure to software as a service (SaaS).
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, SAP BPC, Workday Adaptive Insights and Xero would be an advantage.
