We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Management Accountant to join the innovative team at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens!
As a senior member of the Finance branch, you will contribute to the leadership and engagement of the organisation to deliver financial and business solutions. Your role provides high quality financial and budgetary analysis and advisory services to internal clients, with the main focus being the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, resulting in efficient and effective financial performance. A key function of your role will be to support senior staff responsible for operational management of the Board of Botanic Gardens including, procurement and contract management, project governance and financial and management accounting.

Contract:
Contract for up to 2 years
Essential Qualifications:
An appropriate tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business is essential
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- May be required to undertake intrastate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.
- This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.
Remuneration:
ASO6 - $97,022 min - $102,626 max p.a.
