AddressAs an A08 Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within our government Health organisation. You will be responsible for creating a Financial Sustainability.
Plan, managing budgets, reconciling service agreements and expenses, and presenting financial data effectively. Your work will support our mission to enhance sustainable practices and make a lasting difference to this government organisation!

- Develop and execute a Financial Sustainability Plan with the guidance of the Director.
- Allocate budgets using a new P/L approach
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure clear lines of accountability
- Document processes and create reporting templates
- Utilize systems like SAP/DSS/BPT to understand costings
- Apply detailed knowledge of hospital systems
- Drive process improvements based on previous experience
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
- Technical expertise in Excel, including advanced functions
- Ability to analyze data and integrate information effectively
- Experience in budgeting and revenue management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience within the government sector is highly desirable
