About the role
The Company is looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract, who will be a critical member of the finance function. The position will report to the CFO and work closely with the sales, engineering, and operations teams. Responsibilities
The responsibilities below apply to the global business.
- Implementing and improving financial models and processes
- Preparing detailed forecasts
- Data review and analysis
- Working closely with the Project Accountant to implement new reporting tools
- Prepare reports for external stakeholders
- Whilst the position will primarily focus on management accounting, the position will also be responsible for working closely with the CFO and external tax advisors to ensure tax compliance both in Australia and USA.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- CA / CPA part / qualified
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
- Ability to work outside of core hours on occasion
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Have a “can do” attitude and willingness to help in variety of tasks, including occasional tasks unrelated to the core role- we’re a growing company and “everyone sweeps the floor”
