The Company:
Based in Melbourne CBD, our client is a community focused organisation which serves both metropolitan and rural Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
This newly established permanent position will aid with preparing budgets for 8 business units, and be the first point of contact in this large organisation for assisting non financial stakeholders interpret and understand financials.
Reporting directly to Manager, the chosen candidate will be accountable for enhancing business outcomes, ensuring each business unit optimises cash expenditure within the agreed budget allocated. Duties include:
- Budget preparation
- Forecasting
- Journal entries
- Managing the general ledger
- Data analysis
- Internal & external stakeholder management
- Variance analysis
- Business partnering
Your Profile:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree, with a preference for a postgraduate qualification
- Previous experience in a large and complex organisation
- Exposure to large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering
- Proficiency in accurate forecasting and budgeting skills
