What we are looking for someone who
- can analyse a service, break it down into activities so that the cost of providing each service can be understood by management, council and the community.
- can build robust excel models to analyse data and create accurate forecasts.
- understands asset accounting methods, can reconcile records between systems and maintain data integrity.
- can collaborate with others to achieve common goals both within immediate team and teams across Council.

Application Criteria
- Degree qualification in Accounting and knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and create insightful reports to support decision making.
- Able to create financial models for analysis and forecasts.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritise, plan and organise workloads.
- Excellent communication skills, including the preparation of financial reports and work papers.
